Left: Like a sports day mothers race or similar. in the football field.
The main feature of this image is that there are no mature trees in this young
plantation. On the left of the image is the part of the ground there are "slides"
in the dirt.
Right: Sorn 2nd world war home guard, left Jocky Robb, son of the headmaster,
right Bobby Baird.

Left: Tam Muir as a boy, outside a house which was between what is at
present Baird's Television Shop, and what was Lorimer's Garage. (Not the petrol
garage, but the garage on the site of "Overtoun," Drummonds house, opposite
the path to Fir Park.) The house was also at one time Joe Harris The Cobbler's.
The small room between the two chimneys was the harness room. The building with
the dormers and the large square chimney, was in later years, Lorimers Garage.
Right: Tam by the river at the back of the same house looking towards
the bridge.

A view of Woodlands Road, and a young wood. Perhaps dating to the 1950s. The
wooden houses at the back look as though they are still under construction.
