Perhaps a before and after shot on the same night, the hat is off in the
second photo.
Top Left: On the left is Joe Harris. His
real name was Trainer, and he was a cobbler. Next to him Sandy Anderson, the
joiner from Catrine. The chap on the right with the glasses is Wull Hamilton.
Jean has her back to the camera, playing dominoes.
Top Right: Left to right Tam, Sanny Anderson.
Top Left: The chap on the right is Hardy
Bob, (Bob Thomson), a well known local fisher. The gentleman with the bonnet
is David Davidson. His daughter, Lizzy Liddel is still in Sorn in 1998. The
fellow in the shadows is Rabbie Cameron.
Bottom Left: The gentleman on the left is Johnny Nimmo from Catrine,
who worked at the Bleach Works. The man on the right is not the size he looks.
He is sat on a big old black chair, which was once called Dykey's chair. It
was an old car seat!! The fireplace is on the Gable wall at the now car park.
