The cottage sat at the foot of
Jock Howie's Brae years ago, which was a ruin by 1906, which was the postmark
on the back of the image above. Obviously the 1st image, which was on an old
thick plate, was taken quite a time before this.. Top right is possibly not
from that location, although similar. The modern day image taken in June 99
by Sandy, shows only a small part of a wall left.
