The Abbey Cinema, Mauchline was situated in the old Abbey Church, which was situated at the back of where The Jean Armour was, and in 2011 home to R&R Sports and the Hardware store.

The entrance to the Abbey Kirk once was an archway, seen here in this hi res glass negative. The Lawrence's ran the Abbey Cinema, which was the same family as Lawrence's shows.
