NB: We can only offer our sincere apologies for the limited amount of pages that we were allowed to scan, and make public. Even though these writings are of particular interest to students of Burns, the Parish Kirk would only give permission to reproduce certain pages.

It is however with certainty that the complete book of that era would be of great value to students of social history, as well as of course to Burns enthusiasts world wide. Perhaps we can try and lobby the church to allow a reproduction of the full book.

So it is with some regret that this offering may look like a half hearted attempt to re-produce a historical gem, but authorisation was completely out of my hands.
