Sloan was from Blairmulloch. Louis Somervell, of 74th Highlanders,
was killed in 1882, in Egypt at Tel-El Kebir. He was the fifthg son
of Graham Somervell of Sorn Castle. See memorial window on Sorn Church.
Louis Robertson was a champion wrestler, and emigrated to New Zealand.
He was the son of Edward Robertson, the Schoolmaster. |
