27. As referred to in the book, the inn had at the time of publication,
1911, just been slated at the bottom few feet or so. The reason for this seems
to be so that a proper gutter could be used. The building at the back can be
seen as the current newer sandstone built construction, which dates to 1888.
The left hand chimney can is exceptionally tall on the gable wall of Poosie's.
