This was an image marked unknown in the library collection, but it is of South Mossgiel, otherwise once known locally as "Wee Mossgiel". One of the verification factors was the crooked branch on the tree, left of the far away chimney. It can be clearly seen on a known image of Wee Mossgiel, taken by JTG and which also includes the lousie thorn. The next image shows a small extension built to the house, but the tree branch is still there. No photographer or date is known for this image.
