This unique image shows Welton Road of yesteryear, before the housing estate as we know it today was built. As can be seen, the Kirk spires give away the angle of the photograph. The large building on the left is no longer in existance, and would be situated in the present day Glebe. This is The Old Manse. The wall beyond the woman can still be seen at the bottom of Welton Road, separating it from The Glebe.
