Taken again from the John Taylor Gibb collection, this view of The Lousie Thorn in the foreground, and South Mossgiel, known locally as Wee Mossgiel on the left, was used on page 57 of JTG's book, Mauchline Town & District, published in 1911. Sadly neither are standing today.
