Nance Tinnock's in Castle Street is part of the Burns House Museum complex. In 2011 the permanent display of Mauchlineware on the upper floor, which has been here for a few years

See the difference in clarity of the images below. The left hand image taken from a postcard, and the right hand image from a Lantern Slide that belongs to John Wilson of Kilwinnet. But notice that the postcard has a wider capture area. The people at the doorway on the right are not included in the Lantern slide, so the card is presumably taken from the negative. (Nothing unusual in that though)
