A close of the sheds and byres at "Number 1" Loudoun Street, former home of the Bairds. The lane that ran along side these buildings was known as Baird's Lane in days of old. The Bairds no longer reside at Number 1 Loudoun Street, as that area is now the Loudoun Car Park. But the tourist information board which has an ayrshirehistory.com poster displayed is withing the premises of No 1 Loudoun Street. Yes, the same Baird's as the ayrshirehistory.com web editor.
